Auto Folding Mirror Module suitable for the all new 3rd Generation Isuzu D-Max MY21 – onwards.

Once electric folding mirrors have been fitted (not included) this system will allow them to be controlled with the central locking circuit so they close on lock and reopen on unlock and an additional dash mounted switch is included, so they can be operated when the ignition is on.

Description

Module Function:

Once electric folding mirrors have been fitted (not included) mirrors will then fold automatically in when the vehicle is locked using the key remote, (on some vehicle models they will not fold when using the key) allowing for full use of the mirrors to safely exit the vehicle on busy roads.

Unlock doors using key remote both mirrors will fold back out (on some vehicle models they will not fold out when using the key, they will fold out once the ignition is turned on).

The module can be configured during the installation to unfold the mirrors when the vehicles is unlocked (default) or when the ignition is turned on (user selectable upon installation).

Having the ability to fold the vehicles mirrors when locked will greatly reduce the risk of them be damaged by passing cars, cyclist and pedestrians and is a visual indication that the vehicle has been locked.

The included dash mounted switch and additional wiring is included so they can be operated once the ignition is on.

NOTE: Electric foldable mirrors are required (not included) these can be obtained from upper spec models or aftermarket towing mirrors that have a power folding option.

  • Dash mounted mirror fold switch (fully dimmable via existing switch illumination dimmer)
  • Wiring harness between mirror switch on the drivers door and inside the cab on the right hand side of the steering wheel (runs through door gland)
  • Hook & Loop adhesive pad to attach module to door.

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • 10mm ring spanner (or similar)
  • Draw wire
  • Trim tool.

    Auto up/down Window Module Suits Passengers Window Switch

    Once installed to any of the passenger’s window switches, to operate simply tap the existing switch once and the window will fully open or close without the need to keep holding the window switch in position.

    Manual operation is still maintained, hold the switch to operate the window and release at any time for the window to stop.

    Once fitted to the passenger’s window switch the corresponding window switch on the drivers master window switch becomes full one touch auto for that particular window, enabling the driver to have full one touch auto function at their fingertips in addition to the passenger.

    Remove the trim around the factory switch then it’s a simple plug and play installation, just unplug the existing window switch connector and fit the Y patch harness between the factory connector and window switch in place.
