Auto folding mirror module suitable for the Suzuki Jimny  2018 – onward models (JB74) including five door XL
 
Module function: Mirrors will automatically fold in when the vehicle is locked using the remote key fob, allowing full use of the mirrors to safely exit the vehicle on busy roads.
Unlock doors using key remote both mirrors will fold back out.
The module can be configured during the installation to unfold the mirrors when the vehicle is unlocked (default) or when the ignition is turned on (user selectable upon installation).
Having the ability to fold the vehicles mirrors when locked will greatly reduce the risk of them be damaged by passing cars, cyclist and pedestrians.
 
The existing mirror fold button retains full function and overrides the operation of the PJNY1 module when the vehicles ignition is on.

    Solves a frustration I’ve had with the Jimny from the beginning. If you have a modern car with electric folding mirrors, why do they not just fold in when you lock the car.

    Easy installation, removing a couple of trim panels and attaching a plug wiring harness or two inbetween some plugs. Hardest thing is needing small hands to feed a single cable through.

    Now that it folds in automatically when I lock the car, I can now use that as a quick visual indicator if the car has been locked or not!

    Bought this to install in my neighbours Jimny, wouldn’t have been too keen on cutting and soldering wires in a new vehicle that’s not mine so this plug and play kit made it very easy to install.

    Took maybe 30-45mins from start to finish.

    Would’ve like to have seen the fuse in the unit itself for ease of access in future, but I’m sure they have their reasons for it being where it is, and maybe the power wire being another 20cm longer to get that optimal route through the under dash space.

    Instructions were pretty clear although I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but they were a pain to print out from the online hosting page.

    Regardless the unit works as intended, and they now have a vehicle that is how it should have come from the factory.

    Camera Integration System Mitsubishi Triton

    The integration system will allow for an Aux or factory camera to be displayed on the factory head unit in any gear for all models, without the 360 camera option.

    Models with the 360 camera option will only show the Aux or factory camera when in reverse when fitting the integration system.
