(2 customer reviews)

Once installed that passenger’s window switch is transformed to full auto one touch up / down, to operate simply tap the existing switch down once and the window will fully open or flick up to close without the need to keep holding the window switch in position, enabling the driver or passenger to have full one touch auto function at their fingertips.

Manual operation is still maintained, hold the switch to operate the window and release at any time for the window to stop.

NOTE: Not suitable for fitment to the drivers master window switch.

Description

Models for the front and rear passengers switches available

NOTE: Due to space limitations in the rear passengers armrest, the module is contained within heat shrink allowing it to fit within the armrest.

Module Function:

Transforms a single passengers window switch to full one touch auto up/down operation and the corresponding switch on the drivers master window switch.

The patch harness is fully 100% direct plug & play connecting to the factory window switch connector, so no splicing or connecting to any individual wires is required.

System includes:

  • Module – Auto up/down one touch window control module
  • Patch harness with full 100% direct plug & play connectors (no splicing wires required)
  • Adhesive pad (hook & loop) to attach module to inside trim
  • Installation instructions (via a QR code on packaging).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our system uses current sensing to operate the window regulator, it does not use anti pinch so if an object is encountered between the window and door frame the window will stop. Once the obstruction has been removed the window switch can be reused to continue window movement.

The window lock switch on the master window switch can still be used to isolate the passengers windows from operating.

If your windows are not functioning properly (very slow at opening or closing) our system will not be suitable as it will detect over current due to the window regulator working harder than it should stopping the window movement.

Operating features:

  • Hold window switch up or down for manual control

Window switch functions normally – window stops when the switch is released.

  • Tap the window switch once to initiate full auto window operation

Window will automatically close / open without the need to keep holding the window switch.

  • When window is opening or closing tap the switch again to pause window.

Installation:

The door trim is not required to be removed.

  • Remove switch fascia using a trim removal tool
  • Disconnect existing factory window switch connector
  • Fit supplied plug and play Y patch harness to the corresponding connectors
  • mount controller

Perfect product with very easy installation. Something every 70 series should have!

  2. Shane Holst (verified owner)

Works perfectly on a 1993 GXL 80 series landcruiser passenger window. Takes about 2 minutes to install to have the ease of auto up/down window from passenger side and drivers main window controls as well. Toyota should have done this from factory. Thx so much Trac Electronics you are legends 😊
