System automatically locks doors when the vehicle exceeds approximately 15km/h for manual transmission models or when drive (D) is selected for automatic transmission models preventing access from the outside.

Doors will remain locked once the ignition is turned off for manual transmission models, for automatic transmission models doors will unlock when park (P) is selected, this can be user changed to stay locked during installation (applicable to automatic transmission models only).

Connects to the vehicles Central Gateway Control Module via a plug and play patch harness connecting within the steering column.

Description

For Manual transmission: 

Drive over 15km/h (approximately) to automatically lock all doors.

 

For Automatic transmissions:

Select drive (D) doors will automatically lock

Select park (P) doors will automatically unlock

 

Installation:

With the vehicles ignition in the off position and the key removed from the ignition remove the lower trim by first removing the single Phillips screw then depressing each side slightly and pulling down (the upper trim is not required to be removed).

Connect the patch harness to the corresponding connectors within the underside of the exposed column , ensuring the connectors are securely fitted affix the module to a smooth flat surface.

Replace trim and Philips screw.

NOTE: Do not change settings, remove module, or patch harness when the vehicles ignition is on.

Can be used in conjunction with our auto window/mirror and mirrors systems.

 

Can be use in conjunction with our auto folding mirror systems # PJNY1 and auto windows and mirrors # PJNY2 & PJNY5
