NOTE: The updated facelift MU-X (MY25) with the volume and tune knobs on the front face of the head unit are NOT currently supported with this system.

Our anytime reverse and auxiliary camera system allows you to view the selected camera on the factory head unit once the ignition is on, with a simple push of the included factory styled switch .

In addition to the factory reverse camera two additional video inputs are available so any one of the cameras can be displayed on the factory head unit in any gear, giving you the ability to monitor the tow hitch from the factory reverse camera or a auxiliary camera located on the back of your caravan, work body or even the front of your vehicle, with a simple press of the supplied switch.

Description

Anytime Reverse and Dual Auxiliary Inputs 

Our system allows for simple plug & play integration to the face lift MY24 (and onward) D-Max and MY25 BT-50 factory head unit that has the tuning and volume knobs on the front face, the included wiring harness is fully terminated so no additional wiring is required simply connect into the existing wiring and fit the included harness, interface module and dual switch.

When the top switch is in the off position the selected camera will only be displayed on the factory head unit, once the reverse gear has been selected this can be any of the three cameras (user selectable via the bottom switch).

When the top switch is in the on position any one of the selected cameras will be displayed on the factory head unit in any gear that has been selected (user selectable via the bottom switch).

This camera interface enables you to display the factory reverse camera in any gear in addition to two auxiliary cameras, by simply activating the supplied factory styled dual function dash switch, that fits into an existing switch location on the upper righthand side of the dash.

Once the top switch is activated the factory camera is displayed on the existing factory head unit regardless of the gear selected, holding the bottom switch down for more than half a second will activate the auxiliary cameras with a tap of the bottom switch, switches between the two auxiliary cameras, holding the bottom switch down for more than half a second will deactivate the auxiliary cameras switching back to the factory reverse camera.

  • System is fully plug & play zero modification to the factory wiring is required – no cutting or splicing wires required during installation, simply fit our interface module and patch harnesses between the existing factory connectors
  • Factory styled switch is provided for seamless integration to your dash
  • Navigation, radio, Bluetooth, Android Auto & Apple Car Play audio is uninterrupted when the switch is in the on position
  • The factory head unit is NOT required to be removed, simplifying the installation
  • Auxiliary cameras can be either standard definition or high definition (or a mix of) 480P, 720P or 1080P
  • Auxiliary cameras can be either PAL or NTSC TV system (or a mix of)
  • Two camera inputs are provided : x1 M12 4 pin connector and x1 RCA female connector with positive and negative connections (if two M12 connectors are required then an adaptor to convert the RCA connector is required)
  • Start up time 3.5 seconds from when ignition is turned on, when switching between cameras there will be a black screen for approximately one second this allows the interface to process the different camera formats and resolutions to ensure a stable output to the factory screen
  • Tools required – Trim tool (optional), M10 ring spanner or similar
  • Installation instructions are included via the QR code on the front of the packaging and on the interface module
  • Auxiliary cameras are not included.

Note: The dynamic reversing guidelines are generated by the factory head unit not the interface and can be turned off/on via the factory settings (on the head unit).

No cabling to the back of the vehicle is included, for additional cabling, trim tools and accessory options refer here
