Auto Folding Mirror Module suitable for the new Subaru Crosstrek.
Module function: Mirrors will fold automatically in when the vehicle is locked using the remote key fob or touch panel on the door handle, allowing full use of the mirrors to safely exit the vehicle on busy roads.
Unlock doors using key remote or touch panel on the door handle both mirrors will fold back out.
The module can be configured during the installation to unfold the mirrors when the vehicles is unlocked (default) or when the ignition is turned on (user selectable upon installation).
Having the ability to fold the vehicles mirrors when locked will greatly reduce the risk of them be damaged by passing cars, cyclist and pedestrians and is a visual indication that the vehicle has been locked.
 
The existing mirror fold button retains full function and overrides the operation of the module, when the vehicles ignition is on.

    Thanks to Trac, I now have the external mirrors folding automatically when locking or unlocking my Crosstrek. Fantastic product, instructions easy to follow (my 2023 MY24 2.0R had blue [top] and black [bottom] door lock cable ends … but that was not an issue). Well worth purchasing a trim tool kit as it assists greatly. Many thanks for the technology. If only there was an auto-window up/down fob control module!

    So easy to install and works a treat. Mirrors just seamlessly auto fold when the car is locked and unfold when unlocking. I had the same issue as the other reviewer where the top cable was blue and the bottom cable was black, other than that the instructions were perfect. MY24 2.0S model.
