Description

Three-camera system (x2 AUX x1 Factory)

When the top switch of the dual switch is selected this turns on the factory reverse camera, in addition to the top switch being on the bottom switch turns on the AUX camera input (input one) with audio input into the AUX input of the factory head unit.

 

To change to input two, turn on/off the changeover switch.

 

  • The system would have two M12 4 pin patch leads (200mm in length) at the back of the factory head unit both would supply 12v to each individual camera with common negative and received video signals
  • You will need two blank switch locations on the right-hand side of the steering wheel, one for a dual switch and one for a single changeover switch
  • Any one of the three cameras (factory reverse and 2 AUX) can be viewed on the factory screen in any gear.

 

NOTE: The caravan cameras MUST be standard definition NTSC TV system to be able to be viewed on the factory head unit not PAL TV system or AHD high definition.

 

The head unit will need to be removed to install our integration system (this system is then fully plug and play no intrusive connections are required).

 

NOTE: No additional M12 4 pin cables from head unit to rear of vehicle are included.

    Laser cut 304 Stainless steel actuator bracket included, so no additional drilling into the vehicles metal tailgate required uses existing mounting fixtures.
    Pre-bent actuator rod is also supplied so no additional fabrication required.

    Camera Integration System

    Suits:

    : Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X models from 2011 to 2023/24 fitted with a factory screen incorporating a reverse camera are compatible.

    : BT-50 models (Isuzu platform) up to MY24

    NOTE: The updated facelift D-Max (MY24 models) and MU-X (MY25) with the volume and tune knobs on the front face of the head unit and Mazda’s 11-inch screen and MY25 models are NOT compatible with this system.

    In addition to the factory reverse camera a second auxiliary video input is available so either of the cameras can be displayed on the factory head unit in any gear, giving you the ability to monitor the tow hitch from the factory reverse camera or a auxiliary camera located on the back of your caravan or even the front of your vehicle, with a simple press of the switch.
