  Auto Folding Mirror Module Suits Daihatsu Hijet (10th Gen)

  Auto Folding Mirror Module suitable for the tenth generation Daihatsu Hijet:

  • S500P & S510P 12/2021 – 2025

   

  Module function: Mirrors will fold automatically in when the vehicle is locked using the remote key fob or button (if fitted), allowing full use of the mirrors to safely exit the vehicle on busy roads.

   

  Unlock doors using key remote or button (if fitted) both mirrors will fold back out.

  The module can be configured during the installation to unfold the mirrors when the vehicle is unlocked (default) or when the ignition is turned on (user selectable upon installation).

  Having the ability to fold the vehicles mirrors when locked will greatly reduce the risk of them be damaged by passing cars, cyclist and pedestrians and is a visual indication that the vehicle has been locked.

   

  The existing mirror fold button retains full function and overrides the operation of the auto folding module, when the vehicles ignition is on.

  Idle Off (On) & Traction Control (Off) Dual Switch

  Once fitted, every time you start the vehicle within a few seconds the control module within the switch harness will automatically deactivate the factory Idle Stop System (ISS) function, there is no requirement to press the switch every time the ignition is turned on.

  Should you need to revert back to the idle stop system function, once the engine is operating to temporary turn the idle off system back on, simply press the idle on switch and the function will be reinstated until the vehicle is restarted.

  The traction control switch functions in exactly the same way as the factory switch did.

  Auto Folding P51A Mirror Module & Central locking tailgate system suitable for the Ford Ranger 

   

  This system is fully compatible with the Ford Ranger MK2, MK3 & PU from 2015 – 2022 that have the mirror fold button above the mirror adjustment switch. 

  Note: Not suitable for the Next Gen Ford Ranger

  Uses existing vehicles remote or via the door handle sensor (if equipped).

  Laser cut 304 Stainless steel actuator bracket included, so no additional drilling into the vehicles metal tailgate required uses existing mounting fixtures.
  Pre-bent actuator rod is also supplied so no additional fabrication required.
