Low on switch locations, this dual switch combines the factory ESC / Traction Control Off and Hill Descent Control switch into a single switch location that is fitted to the right hand side of the steering wheel.
Two great functions incorporated in the same module that is fully 100% direct plug & play no splicing into the vehicles central locking wires required.
Once the vehicle is locked using the key remote or sensor on the door handle the side mirrors fold in and fold back once the vehicle is unlocked using the key remote or sensor on the door handle (models with factory fitted electric folding mirrors).
Models with proximity locking, the mirrors will also fold in and any open windows will close when the vehicle automatically locks.
Always forgetting to close all the windows after you have removed the keys from the ignition or eliminate the possibility that your passenger’s have left the rear windows down without your knowledge leaving your vehicles contents vulnerable.
This module allows for all windows to be automatically closed every time the vehicle is locked using the key remote, while still allowing for remote operation using your original key remote to open or close the windows.
Transforms all the existing window switches on the drivers side to one touch open / close and an additional module that is fitted to a passengers window switch allowing the passenger to operate their switch in full auto mode.
Suits both X-Terrain and LS-U models fitted with electric folding mirrors
Central locking Tailgate system suits Ford Ranger PX1, PX2, PX3 & PU models, all must have a lockable (key entry) tailgate latch and existing central locking on the fuel release cover.
Note: Not suitable for the Next Gen Ford Ranger
No splicing into the vehicles electrical system is required this is a 100% true plug & play harness connecting to the existing factory central locking connector that is located behind the fuel release cover.
Uses existing vehicles remote or via the door handle sensor (if equipped).
Laser cut 304 Stainless steel actuator bracket included, so no additional drilling into the vehicles metal tailgate required uses existing mounting fixtures.
Pre-bent actuator rod is also supplied so no additional fabrication required.
Once installed to any of the passenger’s window switches, to operate simply tap the existing switch once and the window will fully open or close without the need to keep holding the window switch in position.
Manual operation is still maintained, hold the switch to operate the window and release at any time for the window to stop.
Once fitted to the passenger’s window switch the corresponding window switch on the drivers master window switch becomes full auto for that particular window, enabling the driver to have full auto function at their fingertips in addition to the passenger.
Installation:
Remove the window switch fascia by first removing the single Phillips screw then inserting a trim tool between the fascia and door panel and prying upwards, then it’s a simple plug and play installation, just unplug the existing window switch connector and fit the Y patch harness between the factory connector and window switch.
